Welcome to the Digital Graphics Lab, brought to you by Giant Campus! This lab features four projects that use Gimp, the open-source graphic editing tool.
To get started, you'll need a copy of Gimp. Click here get an archived version. (Note: If you already have Gimp, the tutorials may not look exactly like your version. For the most part, the steps are the same!)

Workshop 1: Photo Essentials
This is the perfect place to start for digital photgraphers. Learn how viewpoint, perspective and composition work together to create compelling digital images.

Workshop 2: Exploring Color and Shape
Delve into the fundamentals of color theory, then apply what you've learned to edit your digital images! You'll also learn how to use Gimp to create a cool piece of abstract art!

Workshop 3: Drawing with Gimp
Use Gimp's drawing tools to create cool looking drawings based on photographs! You'll also learn about layers. brushes, and how to make a tiled background for your computer desktop!
