Fort Richardson

Students on computers

In the fall of 2006, Fort Richardson selected Giant Campus and partner TKCIS to create, implement, and manage a computer technology training program within the Alaska-based community. The program focuses on providing a variety of youth technology training programs and distance learning courses. Congressional funding enabled Giant Campus, a recognized nationwide leader in technology training and 21st century skills, to provide enjoyable and relevant courses to the military community at Fort Richardson in Alaska. The demand for this type of program was evident in the first year, with nearly a thousand participants taking courses online and sending their children to our popular Cybercamps youth program.

Our highly-rated courses teach skills in Microsoft Office, Internet basics, e-mail, computer programming, robotics, game design, Web design, and more.
