James Peters
Director of Content Development
James Peters joined Giant Campus in 2005 with over 15 years of experience in teaching, training and Web-based content development. He combines his passion for technology, love of learning and interest in Web-based curriculum in his current position as Director of Content Development. Prior to joining Giant Campus, James worked at Microsoft Corporation in a variety of positions related to teaching and curriculum development. Hired by Microsoft in 1997 as an instructional designer, James also served as managing editor for Microsoft Press Interactive and group manager of Microsoft's eLearning development team. James began his career in 1991 as a classroom teacher. He has also worked as a curriculum consultant for school districts across the US and Canada. He received a bachelors degree in English from the University of Washington. He is a member of the American Society for Training & Development and the International Society for Performance Improvement.
