Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. Because we gather certain types of information about the users of our Web properties, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. We use cookies for enabling or disabling advanced web features like Shockwave, and to measure the effectiveness of features, content, or pages in our sites. For our summer program registrants, Giant Campus assigns an identification number to campers and parents, which is encrypted for security reasons. These cookies are stored on the registrant's machine and have a frequent pre-determined expiration.

- Giant Campus obtains verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing information collected from any user.
- Giant Campus requests users of our site to give us their name and other personal information for the purposes of registering for our summer camps and other verification purposes. It may be essential for security reasons, for Giant Campus to request additional personal information about an adult for certain e-commerce transactions.
- Giant Campus does not provide children with the opportunity to post or otherwise transmit any identifiable personal contact information without parental consent.
Giant Campus would like to offer parents the following guidelines:
- The Internet provides many wonderful resources for everyone. As parents, become part of your child's world online. Sit beside them when they are exploring the web and ask questions. There is a lot parents and kids can learn and share while surfing the Internet together.
- Let your child know that they do not, under any circumstances, need to feel that they must give out any personal information. Even if the request is from a cute and loveable animated character. Further, let them understand that they are not to fill out any questionnaire for a contest or game without their parent's consent.
- Make sure that your child understands what 'personal information' means. Besides their name and address, other personal information also includes such examples as a pet's name, information specific to a sibling, favorite foods, etc.
When exploring a new site, check out their Privacy Policy early on. It will let you know what information they are going to ask for and how they intend to use that information.
